PADI Email System

OVERVIEW

PADI’s email production workflow relied heavily on static mockups created in Canva before being rebuilt separately by the Email Operations team, creating inefficiencies, limited visibility, and unnecessary back-and-forth during production. I identified an opportunity to streamline the process by transitioning the workflow into Figma using Emailify, allowing emails to be visually designed within a system built specifically for scalable email development. The decision to adopt Emailify was also strategically informed by its compatibility with existing tools and workflows, particularly its integration potential with Crowdin and Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The goal was to improve transparency between teams, reduce production bottlenecks, and create a more efficient and scalable pipeline from design to deployment.

About the project

I led the shift from a disconnected mockup-based workflow to a more integrated email production system built in Figma using Emailify. Designing directly within a modular framework allowed stakeholders, designers, and Email Operations to work from a shared visual source of truth while simplifying the export and implementation process for development. The transition was guided not only by design efficiency, but by the need to better align with the company’s broader localization and marketing infrastructure through tools like Crowdin and Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The updated workflow improved collaboration and visibility across teams, reduced turnaround time, increased consistency between design and final output, and established a more scalable foundation for ongoing email production.
